My name is Hitomi Tanaka-Capraro. 
I am a Graphic/Web Designer and Photographer in New York City.

 

For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about interesting and beautiful images. From an early age, I was surrounded by interesting colors and patterns at my grandparents kimono shop. Unbeknownst to me, these beautiful fabrics would prove to be my first experience with the world of design. The kaleidoscope of colors inherent within these garments have shown to be a source of inspiration. 

 

The design process can be a funny thing; with the final product not always resembling the initial inspiration but resulting in a great development. Sometimes the most complicated concepts can lead to a "simple/minimal design", while a pile of shoes next to your door might lead to a "complicated/detailed project". Either way, the concept of any design must integrate both aesthetically and intellectually the clients' needs in an artistic and appealing way. I believe that I have the ability to create this beautiful harmony in any work through the design process.

 

Currently I have been working with individual clients. We always try to visualize a unique story together, while maximizes the beauty and creativity in the art work without diminishing the vision. I look forward to creating you a beautiful story that you and yours will be proud of.
